Young Kenyan Entrepreneur and Inventor Nzambi Matee Introduced by Edward Norton


Ms Nzambi Matee, 28 is a material engineer and founder of start up Gjenje Makers a social enterprise focused on sustainable, alternative and affordable, building products manufacturing company.


They tackle environmental pollution and waste by collecting waste plastic which they then recycle and re-engineer with sand into bricks more than 4 times stronger than concrete for construction purposes.

Ms Matee a recent UN Champion Of The Earth awardee with her start up has empowered over 112 individuals, many of which are women providing them jobs as whilst they all work to keep the planet?s climate in safe condition.





Edward Norton, multi academy award nominated filmmaker and actor in movies Fight Club, The Incredible Hulk and Primal Fear and UN Goodwill Ambassador For Biodiversity introduced the young African game changer on the second episode of UN climate action podcast, No Denying It.
