Lagos, Nigeria born and raised Oyin Asu Johnson also known as the artist and DJ Yin on the 20th September 2021 on set off on a DJ'ing marathon to break the world for the longest set.

Said to have been influenced by her DJ dad on her career path, the young talent had already made her way around the scene as at 2016, laying soulful vocals on records with some of her peers and disc jockeying as legend DJ Jimmy Jatt's understudy. In 2019 she debuted a 5 track EP titled Life of Fatimah.

Before Yin got on this brilliant courageous 240 hour/10 day journey which she on her instagram declared she was doing to represent the women.., was former world record holder DJ Obi who did a 230 hour marathon in July of 2016 also in Lagos, Nigeria breaking the 200 hour DJ marathon world record set in Dublin by Polish DJ Norbert Selmaj in November 2014.

Following the same rules as her forerunners she stood, rocked night and day from her turntable and mixer whilst also receiving support from fans and industry associates who showed up at venue, some video-calling in live and others messaging love on social media, as she achieved this feat.

Tiwa Savage, Niniola, Falz The Bahd Guy and LAX were only a few of out the celebrities who showed up for her and by 9pm of October 1, 2021 which incidentally is Nigeria's independence day she broke the world record for longest ever DJ set and then also same day announced the release of her new single, Domitila.
