Luxury sturdy SUV brand, Range Rover of Jaguar Land Rover owned by Tata Motors for the first time in its scores long history gets the finer touch of creative African hands in key leading positions.

Tyough Yohanna Beetseh, 37 from Makurdi, Nigeria spearheaded the Applications Delivery And Integration project ? Global IT Manufacturing as Project and Programme management Consultant.

While Nissi Ogulu, 26, from Port Harcourt, Nigeria who is also a musician and sister to super star Burna Boy stated her role was "problem-solving, overseeing the delivery of the product through its full production cycle from the design phase to supplier sourcing and manufacturing stages until it reaches customer shipment readiness."

Interesting to note in 1971, a year after the launch of the first Range Rover, ex-Cream drummer Ginger Baker used the unproven Range Rover to drive from Algeria to Lagos, Nigeria to set up a recording studio and jam with Fela Kuti. 50 years later it would be young Nigerians playing key roles in the bringing a more advanced version of this beautiful luxurious automobile to fore.
